On 29 October 2026 IperionX released its September 2026 quarterly report. Produced 8.7 metric tons of titanium HAMR powder (June quarter: 1.4 t). Completed 1.6 t back-to-back deoxygenation runs in 63 hours, validating furnace capacity above the 200 tpa target annualized run-rate. Closed the quarter with 19 t finished powder inventory and 207 t titanium scrap feedstock. Commissioned the first of two additional Elnik HSPT sintering furnaces (second installed, commissioning December quarter). Validated GenX continuous platform at ~100 tpa equivalent run-rate with 6x throughput and >75% lower power vs batch. Secured U.S. Army GVSC follow-on for JLTV titanium fasteners; produced 1,500 fasteners. Cash US$63.0 million plus remaining obligated government funding.
Why it matters: The near-term bottleneck for U.S. defense and aerospace titanium AM and powder-metallurgy is not printer capacity but consistent, qualified domestic powder at meaningful volume. This quarter supplies the first material production-volume evidence against the 200 tpa target. Qualification and conversion to recurring contracted revenue remain the open gates.
