Bright Laser Technologies (BLT, 688333.SH) reported Q3 2026 revenue of RMB 489.9 million in its quarterly report published on 28 October 2026, down 0.79% year on year. Source: BLT Q3 2026 report (CNINFO).
Net profit attributable to shareholders was RMB 56.3 million, down 29.07%. Pre-tax profit fell 38.24% to RMB 52.0 million.
Nine-month revenue was RMB 1,259.9 million, up 8.54%. Nine-month net profit attributable was RMB 107.5 million, down 30.99%. Excluding non-recurring items, it was RMB 64.1 million, down 41.33%.
BLT named four causes: higher R&D spending, foreign-exchange losses, larger bad-debt provisions on receivables, and higher interest on bank loans. Q3 R&D was RMB 78.1 million, up 35.29%, or 15.95% of revenue.
At 30 September, inventory was RMB 1,718.7 million, up 28% from RMB 1,341.6 million at end-2025. Accounts receivable were RMB 1,256.1 million. Construction in progress reached RMB 1,361.3 million, against RMB 1,118.5 million at end-2025.
Short-term borrowings rose to RMB 1,228.9 million from RMB 967.1 million. Long-term borrowings were RMB 675.8 million. Nine-month operating cash flow was negative RMB 158.8 million, against negative RMB 206.8 million a year earlier.
Capacity spending continues. On 27 October the board approved a further RMB 118.0 million of previously raised share-offering funds for Xi’an Bodian Materials Technology, the wholly owned subsidiary building BLT’s metal-powder workshop. It received RMB 198.1 million in August 2025. Bodian booked no revenue in the first nine months of 2026. Source: BLT announcement 2026-052.
That sits alongside the roughly RMB 1 billion Taicang metal AM base disclosed on 9 October.
What to watch: whether inventory converts to revenue in Q4, and whether receivables and borrowings keep growing faster than sales.
